Some needed R&R, oh and triangle cupcakes

So I have been teasing Dallin for awhile now that I chalked up a whole bunch of vacation days this summer. So I finally redeemed a couple and went and saw my sister Janalyn.  She found out earlier last week that she is going to be having a baby girl. We are so thrilled. She is a little miracle baby. This last year we have been blessed by some incredible miracles and my brother Tony and Sarah and their new little guy Luke along with Jake and Jan's little girl I feel overwhelmed with gratitude. These babies have been prayed for by so many it is almost overwhelming. It was so fun to see my sister look pregnant. She looks adorable. We did some girl shopping and had a lot of fun. It was a very quick trip but I was grateful for the chance to go.

I am pretty sure I was not even missed at home. Dallin did all the therapy with Porter Friday including a fireman's outfit. (I will post pictures soon). As well as making triangle cupcakes. I have no idea where he got this idea but it is genius. So if you have a sandwich maker try this out with your kids. You just make a box of cake mix up and then pour a little into the sandwich maker and close. When the light is green they are done. My kids were very excited to tell me about the cupcakes. Have fun!

Triangle cupcakes sound like a good idea. I'll have to try it some time since I have a sandwich maker. I wonder if the same concept would work with a waffle iron. That would be kind of cool. Cupcakes are good no matter what shape they are.
