Oh Bennett!

This poor kid is just tiny. I am starting to think he will never grow. At a year he was 21 pounds at his two year apt he was 23. He loves to weigh himself and he hasn't weighed himself in a while. Yesterday I was in my bathroom and he weighed himself and it said he was 20 pounds and that was with a full diaper from just waking up. I could not believe it and I made him get on again and it said 20 pounds. I weighed him again this morning hoping it was a fluke but nope it said 20 pounds. All that hard work getting him to 23 pounds is now gone. I swear he is never going to grow. In other Bennett news I have been potty training him this week. He has been very determined to use the potty for awhile now. I have been the one digging my heels in. Mainly because I have not even been able to be home for 2 days in a row since school has started. So this week I was able to be home all week except for yesterday when I went to Porter's school. But he has been doing pretty good. I have been putting a pull up on during nap and bedtime and yesterday I put him in a diaper for when he went to Courtnie's but he came home and went right on the potty for me. This morning He got up ate breakfast and I sat him on the potty. He did not go. I got him dressed and we took Nickelle to school and I kept thinking he would for sure pee his pants but he did not. I had told Porter he could watch little einstein s when we got home because he was really upset about Nickelle going to school and so when we got home I asked Bennett if he needed to go potty and he said no. So I let the boys watch the show. He still did not pee his pants. After the show I told him it was time to go. We went upstairs and he went right away for me. I was super excited because I think he is learning how to hold it. His underwear are ginormous on him but he LOVES them. He is really proud of using the potty and very focused about it. He wants to be like the big kids. He is way to little to sit on the big potty and can not even climb up there with a stool because he is so short so he will probably have to use the potty chair for awhile but that is ok too. If things continue this way I might be down to 1 in diapers. That has not happened since Porter was a baby and he was our only one. The most intense was when I had 3 in diapers and they were all in different sizes. It was super expensive. I am excited for him and I hope he can keep it up. Yeah Bennett!
