Projects part 2: framed fabric

I have lots of scraps of fabric just waiting to be used for something fun. My little sister Kersten a few years ago gave me a bunch of scraps and these two fabrics were my favorite. The one in the middle I have been searching for the right place to put it and then this week it hit me, frame it. So I did. I took old wood frames I had and painted them white. Used old white mats and put in the fabric. I love how it turned out and the whole thing was free. It looks great with the yellow walls in my bathroom. It fills up this wall that has driven me nuts and makes it look pretty. I am very pleased with my handiwork. It is great to be lightening up the house. It makes it feel more open and fresh. I love the dark warm colors but was needing more light in the house and I have loved how everything is looking.
