Santa Porter

On Thursday Santa came to Porter's school. He came to each class and the kids sat on his lap and he gave them a piece of candy. That day Porter came home from school walked upstairs took his pillow case off and found this santa hat. He filled his pillow case full of toys, mostly cars, and then asked us all to sit on his lap and tell him what we wanted for Christmas. The next day we had Cannon and Ashtyn over and again Santa Porter made and appearance. He had them all sit on his lap and tell them what they wanted for Christmas and then he would pull a toy from the pillowcase and they would play with it. I should mention this pillowcase he is carrying around weighs at least 10 pounds.
The story gets better. Last night we had a Ward Christmas party and Porter begged us to go as Santa Porter. So Dallin said he could. He carried that big bag and the kids all chased him saying Santa, Santa. He loved it. The primary sang a song and I told him he needed to go up as Porter the boy and he went up and performed. Nickelle went up with him. They were all on the stage when suddenly Santa from the North Pole came in. My kids faces were hilarious. I have never seen Nickelle move so fast in my life. They all sat on his lap, even Bennett and Brinley. Bennett kept saying Ho Ho Ho to Santa. The kids loved him! Nickelle would be missing and I would find her back with Santa. Towards the end of the night I was back there with Nickelle, and I told Santa that she really loved him. He said she was his favorite too. If only he had seen her this morning when she poured sugar all over the kitchen floor and she and Bennett were eating it and spreading it all around. He may have felt differently. Maybe Santa Porter can talk to them about making good choices so he can give presents this year. What fun kids I have.

Cannon looks just like Clark. I love how small Porter's hat is. So awesome.
