1. My front room. It turned out so beautiful, in fact it is so beautiful I don't like the kids to be in there because I don't want them to ruin it.
2. We turned our formal dining room into a office for now, because I would never want my kids to eat over carpet, especially white carpet which is what is in there. The nice thing about the office is that Dallin can be on the computer and I can be in the front room and I can read a book.
3. I love Nickelle's room. It is so perfect for her. The color we painted is so darling and she has this fun little nook in her room that makes her room super fun. It is a true princess room. I took pictures of all these places and will post soon I am just trying to find the card reader. Hope I find it soon.
4. I love having the big family room downstairs as a playroom, if only the kids would go down there on there own. Come on kids you really can play without me.
5. My backyard is great. The kids can go out and play and can't leave the yard. Plus it is the perfect yard for BBQ's and get togethers. I have big future plans to do some flower beds and a garden but I will worry about that next summer.
6. I love living in a cul-de-sac. Today the kids were out playing with the neighbors and they were all riding their bikes and they just rode the circle. I loved it.
7. We have boys right across the street Porter's age and little girls down the street Nickelle's age. They had so much fun with there new friends today. I had so much fun getting the house clean and then watching them play outside.
8. I made a reading corner in my bedroom. It has a big bookshelf with all my favorite books and then a rocking chair. Now I can just sit relax and read. I LOVE IT!!
I am going to have more favorite things about this house I just know it, these are just the things so far that we have done. Dallin has worked so hard to do so many things for me. He changed the hardware in the kitchen for me. The old ones were a eye sore and he was nice enough to let me change that. He painted the fireplace plating. It was crazy shiny gold and for whatever reason I just cannot make peace with gold. I have never liked it. So he took it off and sanded it and painted it black for me. I am excited for it to finish drying so we can put it up and I can go nuts in there too. He has fixed everything you can imagine, moved every box wherever I needed, done yard work. Fixed the air conditioning, dishwasher, washing machine, set up the internet, phones, and tv. I have worked the man into the ground and I love him for not complaining once. He has smiled sweetly as I have decorated and made him hold things on the wall and I sit and ponder for about 5 min and his arms are dying. The best was the other day I mentioned to him how badly I needed a haircut. The next thing I know he has come home from home depot and says I got you a haircut scheduled. He ran into his best friend from high school at home depot and found out his wife cuts hair and so he made me an appointment. I got it cut today and it looks so much better. I had to cut 4 inches off. I let it go way too long. The man never fails. It is hard to believe we have been here a week now. The time has flown and we have worked very hard. I am so happy to be here and I honestly feel like I hope we stay in this house forever because I absolutely love it.
